What’s your biggest copywriting tip for an up and coming copywriter?
here goes…
1. Your headline is like the first page of a book - it has to grab attention
2. Your 2nd Para should explain exactly what it is your trying to communicate (if need be the reader should not have to read any more to understand what it is all about)
3. The language and tone you use should be tailored according to your potential reader
If you copy and paste info about a company and use it on ebay to sell a product is that copywriting? Illegal?
I know this is done all the time, I was just wondering?
It’s not illegal to post publicly available information about a company.
But, it’s more than likely illegal to post as if you represent the company.

How to get a copywriting job?
I am looking to get a copywriting job. I am already working in a similar role but looking to move to a better place. I have done a degree in journalism. My question is aiming at experienced copywriters and people working in the industry who can help me deciding what courses and qualifications are nesesarry in order to land a copywriting job. Thanks.

Where can I find job listings for freelance copywriting online?
I’ve found that CraigsList seems to be one of the only places where I can find the occasional freelance copywriting job posting. Does anyone know of any other good sites for finding freelance copycopywriting opportunities?

Where on earth can you get good copywriting classes?
I hate it when I am stuck without any idea on how to write good copy for ads. My boss tells me that my choice of words aren’t good enough, or my words are too complex, or I don’t have the tone of the people I’m speaking to.. I mean, what the hell? As long as I’m writing good copy with interesting words, isn’t it enough?
Maybe I need copywriting lessons. So, any idea where I can get copywriting lessons from an expert? I can’t be stuck at this position anymore!!!!!!
